QiYue Toys does not publish one minimum order for every custom PVC or ABS toy. The quantity and the finish date are written on the quote for that sculpt. The ranges below are the same ones on our Services page. They are a reference. The date on your order is the one that counts.
What changes the quantity
The quote follows the sculpt and the process. A painted figure, a keychain, a badge, a coaster, and a blind-box series do not share one number. An artist or a new brand can be quoted for a smaller run. A retail program is quoted for a larger run. The quote states the quantity.
Mold ownership is also on the order. It says whether the tool stays with the factory or transfers to you. That is separate from how many pieces you buy.
Lead time for a figurine
A typical figurine project is about two months from modeling to packing. Design changes and the factory schedule can move that. These step ranges are working days. Packaging can run while parts are in production.
- 3D modeling: 3–5 working days
- Prototype: 5–7 working days
- Mold making: 5–10 working days
- Pre-production sample: 5–7 working days
- Toy parts: 3–5 working days
- Color painting: 2–5 working days
- Assembly: 5–7 working days
- Packaging box: 7–10 working days, and it can be done at the same time as production
- Packing: 3–10 working days
- Final inspection: 1–2 working days
- Shipping: after the balance is paid
Quality control runs through the job, not only at the last inspection.
Samples, then bulk
3D prototype samples usually ship by DHL with tracking and arrive in a few days after they leave Shenzhen. Bulk orders ship FOB Shenzhen or door-to-door. Transit time depends on volume, method, and the destination country. See shipping.
